Bristol stalwart DLR returns with three new slabs of hunky funk for the next release with the only CIA you like.
You know you’re in for quality when you see this man’s name on the package, and once again he doesn’t disappoint. Coming in deep like Echo The Dolphin for this EP, we’re treated to two solo tracks from the maestro alongside a fresh collab with label bosses Total Science.
‘Don’t Come Too Close’ sees DLR channelling his inner Colombo, hot on the tail of some bouji trouble makers who you know he wont let get away with their heinous crime, pummelling them with incessant bass. ‘Squeeks’ takes him all the way to some South Pacific atoll where we find him cavorting and stroking some of his favourite dolphin mates for a blissed out roller of the deepest proportions. And ‘Back Track’ alongside the man duo to beat em all, Total Science, sees the trio give a nod to the legendary DJ Die, and armed with the most enormous rubber band you’ve ever seen, create bouncing bass carnage that is a sight to behold!
