Nymfo is next up to take a seat at the CIA banquet table. The Dutch master is a long-time extended member of the family so it is a pleasure to welcome him back to the fold once more, this time with his ‘Stone Cold EP’.
Known for coming with the icy roller, Nymfo is continually working and developing his range of production skills and able to turn his hand to any sound or style he wishes. And you can tell that the ‘Stone Cold EP’ has been directly crafted with CIA in mind.
The title track ‘Stone Cold’ sets the tone straight off, stepping it’s way into a 2021 fizzing and dropping rhythm that’s sure to set the stacks alight. ‘Headhunter’ strips proceedings even further back, channelling that inner truffle shuffle. ‘Bunny Hop’ makes you want to dance around the room doing armpit farts to it’s rezzy bass and ‘Dizzy’ starts off gently and subtly before building into another talking bassline weapon that would be great to sing at the record shop for the ultimate ‘I know how to make friends and influence people’ scenario we all dream of.
