Minor Forms returns for the third and final instalment of his superb ‘Night Trails’ trilogy. Aiming to write dank and dirty tracks for the dancefloor on these three releases, Minor Forms has delivered in spades. The concluding EP houses three new cuts and the young producer shows us once again his ability to produce music that has feeling and emotion, but also weight.

Proceedings begin with ‘Roll Thru’, which does just that. A classic sounding but bang up to date bustling beat, backed with wobbling Bristol basses, this one’s going to the damage for all those who draw for it.

The second cut sees label bosses Total Science step up to remix ‘Time Ticking’ featuring Rider Shafifique, which was released on the second EP from this series. A lushed out and thought provoking track that really channels some classic TS vibes.

‘Lift Music’ closes out the EP, a fresh collab alongside fellow CIA rep Kublai. Lilting strings and brass maybe inspire the title, but once this one’s in full flow, it’s only going to be lifting the whole rave up.

Minor Forms - ‘Night Trails’ - a superb body of work. Keep yours eyes peeled for more from this prodigious young talent.
